Many years ago I taught my brother how to 2-rail steam models. I think he did maybe 25 before he realized he was going broke doing machine work. It all ended over a decade ago.
He kept telling me about these mechanisms he had and didn't quite know what to do with. It is not totally clear to me what happened, but Vince Waterman was the "go between" and he died at about the same time. There are elements of strangeness to these, but I am not privy to the details.
So I had him send them to me. There are two of them. I don't think the machine work was paid for on either one, and the owners never attempted to contact Mike. Machine work was expensive even then, and it may be that the owners just bought already 2-railed models for the same price.
Both are Consolidations - just frames and drivers. If you know anyone who is missing such items, get them to contact me with info.
