This exhibit wase originally opened to the public in October of 1950 by the Police Athletic League. and has been owned by the City of Rochester, NY since the 1960s. It is currently maintained by the Edgerton Model Railroad Club, a volunteer group that is working with the city to keep it running and open to the public.
They were featured in O Gauge magazine (Run 107, October 1989), 2 issues of Classic Toy Trains (June and August 1991) and in O Gauge Video Magazine (Spring 1997). The video magazine article is currently available from O Gauge Railroading in their DVD “Great Layouts You Can Visit, Volume 2”.
We hope to see you there!
