I'm trying to find out if any model manufacturer painted an O scale sized 40' reefer in PFE's 1942 to 1946 paint scheme.  I have not been able to find one.  The '42-'46 scheme is identical to the '36-'42 but without the diagonal "OVERLAND".  Below is the '36-'42 scheme on my Atlas car.  Looking for one without the diagonal in the UP shield, if any were made.  Thank you.

Ron,

You might check Tichy for decals, I just looked and they do list a colored PFE for express reefers without the sash as well as the earlier with sash versions and then the later where the heralds were just black and white...  Might also look on the SP blogspot, he is an ho modeler but does a lot of customization, painting and decaling to get proper prototype stuff, he might point to correct decals as well. My Lobaugh cars are prewar and have the sash, but I still think they did make a postwar version from 46-50-ish but I don't have a later cataloge to look at. Below, prewar Lobaugh, postwar Athearn, and prewar Scale Craft.
