What color is best to represent granite ballast to be used to paint homosote?

Can’t go wrong with gray semi-gloss interior latex. You will cover it with gravel, grass and other stuff.

Benjamin Moore & Co. Interior latex/flat N215 Regal Premium flat. (Base N215-3B) Quart. (BK) 6 1/2 shots, (BR) 2 3/4 shots, (OY) 13 shots.
If you have a sample of what you like, most paint stores can mix the color.
The Big Box stores may have returned, mixed paint, reduced price, that may be acceptable.
