Painting Mth realtrax

The layout has officially begun! I am painting realtrax & this will be followed with ballasting later this weekend. It takes about 15 minutes to mask the center rail & the contacts on the ends. I then spray Rustoleum Flat Brown over the assembly. I will sand the tops of the rails before ballasting. Will post more pics later this weekend.

I just like realtrax, always have :-)

Hi Gustavflyer,

You’re probably going to get a hundred posts stating how much better Fastrack is. While it is certainly a good product, I feel aesthetically speaking, IMO, Realtrax has it all over Fastrack. I look forward to seeing your results.

Hi Mark, I agree, realtrax looks better. The rails on fastback don't look good at all. The rails look like upside down U's.
