Hi everyone,
Is there a source for model paints in Brass, Copper, Bronze and other metals? Every once in awhile I could use one or more of these colors. I thank all in advance for your help!

Ive seen Gold in spray cans at the hardware store or Walmart
Paul: I don't think that the model RR paint companies make metallic paints. When I need them I go to an auto paint and body store. They carry spray cans in many metallic colors, plus your standard metal sheen paints; aluminum, brass copper, etc.

Brass was the main color I was looking for but it is good to know that I can get gold, silver,copper, brass, steel, and aluminum.
You can purchase metallics at Walmart or any craft stores, such as Michaels. I think the brand name is Americana. Anyway a bottle is around $1.00.

My local hobby shop carries them from Tamiya - full assortment. Look in the model car section of a full line hobby shop.

Find a LHS or order direct Tamiya metallic spray cans. They sell bottles too. I find these are FAR superior to the Testors which are not bad....but I like the coverage and final finish the Tamiya paints give. The brass and copper are great! They have many metallic colors.
