Part Number for 0-8-0 Pilot | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hello,

I was just looking at some of my pictures of my Lionel 0-8-0s, and was thinking that these need some new pilots.

I was looking through the P&D and Des Plaines websites and saw a few pilots on there, and have a few questions.

Does anyone have pictures of them and/or know which part numbers I should choose?

Do they come with mounts for Kadees, or do I have to fab some?

How about one for the rear of the tender?

Are you just looking for the steps or the entire assembly? I think that usually those are just the front cross beam with the steps attached.

I did surgery on my Lionel USRA 0-8-0, and placed Atlas 0-6-0 steps on both the engine and tender. All I did was cut off the old steps, file the front flat, add some styrene filler strips, and a bit of paint, decals, and weathering. Here is the final result:
