Your choice needs to be narrowed. Do you want williams type with silouettes or other with detailed interiors. That needs to be decided first. Also need to know whether you are modeling a particular time period or era, or just want something you like that goes pretty well with the engines. Also whether size matters. 027 13-15 inch or larger length cars. There are many many different sets that match your request. Just need more info to offer opinion.

Thop,

I agree with Allan - 16" aluminum cars will look better than shorter cars behind these engines. And 16" cars will run well on O-31 track. Lionel, MTH and Williams have made these aluminum cars, but I think Williams are the better value. However, I personnaly would go with newer models with the more detailed interiors instead of passenger silhouettes.

well i went to the williams site and couldn't find any new haven passenger car's (72 or 60 foot)

will have to check elsewhere to see if i can find the new haven cars.don't think their is any on e-bay either.

will see if ma/pa or any of the forum sponsor's have any.if not, will have to check other mail order places.

thanks to all for the info.

There is a short 027 New Haven set by original Williams made around 1994 in the black knight scheme that would go good with these engines. You need to watch ebay and other places to see if you can find them .
