Just ordered a pack of 4 for the next venture. Anyone have these in operation?

Remember when setting up only one bulb works either red or green. There's no sequence like MTH which are not scale. They do open up easily and debating about adding Evans design bulb and create sequence circuit. To be honest Iam a bit disappointed to have to do this.
I have an extra MTH controller if anyone wants to experiment.

They are available thru mth parts and service as well.
I have adjustable boards with 555 timers that I built back in the day. My time to put them back in operation is not worth the effort. For 18 bucks, I'll just go with Evans. https://evandesigns.com/produc...amp;_ss=e&_v=1.0
Built in micro circuits don't take up any room either. No need to work under a layout anymore.
I'm sure these would look cool as non switching as well. Thanks for the input.
Any photos of these on city streets?
I was hoping the woodlands scenic lights sequenced, my MTH lights are failing.
check out evenmodel on the bay. He has 1/43 scale lights and timers.

If you have the part number that would be great, I have a few that are duds.

i bought a set of 4 from Evemodel and hooked them up to an MTH traffic light controller.
They operate through their sequence fine although one has a dead red LED. I had to put a resistor in line with the LED commons as the voltage from the MTH controller was higher than 3 V. The green LED is way brighter than the red or yellow.

I have the evemodel ones as well. I haven't installed them but tested them with the traffic light controller I got from evemodels and it all works really well. They look to scale to me.
I use the controller to operate traffic lights at a 4 way intersection. http://www.galakelectronics.com/VG-303.htm
Works great. I used the outputs to control MTH traffic lights and to control power my EZ Street power. Traffic stops when the lights are red and run the light on yellow.

Thank you very much
Honestly can't say I think much of the traffic lights from Woodland Scenics. In fact, I don't like the "Just Plug" system. I think it's cheaply made and way over-priced. And since the traffic lights don't change signals, what's the point?
If you aren't into rolling your own traffic lights and circuits, you might look at Greg Leonard's work. He's made a number of custom traffic signals for me that work nicely and are beautiful. To replicate the intersection of Main Street, County Road, and Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton (odd-shaped), he built this set of suspended lights (just like the prototype).
I don't know if his website is active, but you can contact him at: gacji@zoominternet.net
I think he does great work.
