How close to 1/48 are Life Like people & cars & trucks?

My Life Like figures seem to run on the tall end, but what people who carp about figure size fail to consider is that real people vary in size! Maybe about what, 5'6" to 6'6" is average for a male, meaning the 1/48 figure could vary by a good 1/4". I use all brands - they're all good. I'm not familiar with Life Like cars and trucks.
life like are I believe, 1:43. Arttista figures tend to be more 1:48 scale. woodland scenics figures are pretty good and will generally work with the 1:48 figures. preiser figures come in both scales.

Just hope Jim P's hoamies don't find their way to your layout! He feeds them way to well and they run on the rather large size!
