I have talked with Doug Peck several times about Pine Canyon.  The owners are, unfortunately, facing difficult times, and are completely unable to attend to production.  I have 14 of their buildings on my layout, and can vouch for the first rate quality of their castings.  It is my sincerest hope that they can return to the market soon.

As noted above, I have a lot of Pine Canyon Models on my layout.  Having worked with quite a few craftsman kits -- and done a lot of kit bashing -- I very much enjoy the exceptional castings of these particular kits.  They are heavy enough to avoid warping, and the depth and crispness of the brickwork make them excellent foreground models.  They also have window mullions that are stable and perfectly sized for all those eye-catching signs made by Miller Engineering.  Doug Peck knows the owners ... next time you see him, tell him to encourage Pine Canyon to come back to the market.  We eagerly await their return!

I never built their stuff but a recent customer wanted a lot if the S scale kits. Hopefully they will get back into production soon because I have not seen any other S scale buildings come close to what they have.

I agree.  There are some that I've never seen before or anything even close.  Like the motel variations and the drive in with its versatility.
