What gauge wire would you use for limbs on a pine tree? I know N and HO people use 28 gauge but would that be the same for O?

28 to 30 gauge will work. I have seen it used for other types of trees and pine trees as well. Best wishes.

It all depends upon how much current you need. How many amps?
I'm here all week. Try the veal.
Well that was sappy.
Everybody is a comedian, but I suggest not leaving your day job.
Thank you Dave!
No problem!

Agreed. They do look great. Nice job.
I’ve been modeling pine trees that are commonly found in the southern US. There is a great YouTube video called “ Scratch building southern pine trees in o scale.”
Good luck with the trees.
What size do you use for tree trunks and branches?
I make my trunks out of cuttings from a crepe Myrtle, usually between 5 to 10 inches tall. I’ll whittle the cutting down to between 1/4 to 1/2 inch diameter and tapering toward the top. We have a lot of pines in Easter NC so I will look at them and make my branches accordingly.
