We don't cover it at all... we put some paint in the water and then use textured spray paint in the can. If I was going to layer Gypolite on it, I wouldn't think it would need to dry first.....

great idea. what paint? what amount of dilution? did you use a hand sprayer or a air sprayer? sorry for all the ?????????????. we are just getting ready to lay plaster cloth and were planning to paint it after it was dried. now we will use your approach
