Does anyone know what is happening with Plastruct? I placed an order on their web site on Jan 19 and have not heard anything other then an order confirmation from them. I have called and emailed a number of times but no response.

Dan, that is what I got on line. no one answers the phone and the phone mailbox is full. The address is the same as Evergreen Styreen so I also tried to contact them today.
Stu - Evergreene bought out Plastruct but is keeping both separate. Have you tried michelle@plastruct.com. They are still dealing with limited staffing due to covid.

Stu,
I know they are having a little growing pains and COVID sure does not help. I have to give them a lot of credit for moving and setting up all the molding equipment and the existing stock. This had to be a major undertaking even under normal conditions. I have received a couple of orders from them and they did a fine job. When they bought Evergreen it seamed to be a very smooth transition. I am sure they will provide us with great materials and service in the future. Good luck Evergreen and Plastruct.
Thanks guys. i did send Michelle an email and will hang on. i have always had good results with original plastruct and know covid has slowed down a lot of businesses.
Us structural model makers will be up a creek if Plastruct disappeared. Evergreen's product line is much more fragile (more scale thickness) than Plastruct's ABS products.
Model Builders Supply (MBS) is a viable alternative source to Plastruct.
Checked all their stuff out. They seem to be similar to Scenic Express and their structural materials ARE Plastruct. So if Plastruct ceases operation, MBS would be out of luck too. Lets all hope that Plastruct stays around a little while longer.

Joe, thank you for the link to Michelle. I did get a reply from her today and she is looking into it. She did say they are out of a some items and will check into my order. I had heard from another styrene kit supplier that there manufacturer is not making kits because they are producing PPE for Covid. I can totally support that.

If you are still having issues I live in Des Plaines, IL
I'll go have a talk with them for you!

Alan, thanks for your offer but they have responded to me to check into it. It is one of their horizontal fuel storage kits so if they are out of stock I will look else ware or just order it at a later date. it is for an industrial complex so could be added at a later time.
Stu,
if you need that right away, I can take care of it for you. I designed those and can put together a kit for you.

Alan, thanks for the offer. if it turns out they can not do it i will let you know.
Plastruct is good. I just talked to Michelle and my kit will be sent out tomorrow. They are short handed due to Covid. and still setting up some of the machines after the move. I am glad that Plastruct and Evergreen are still in busness and will continue to support them both.
