I just bought a new TIU and when I went to plug in the WIU I found this in the new female plug on the new TIU. Top pic is the old TIU and the new TIU is on the bottom. I’m holding the plug that should plug into the new TIU.   Any ideas?   Thanks.

You pulled the guts of the USB port out of the connector on the old TIU, and it's stuck in your cable end.  You will need a new USB port in the old TIU.  I hope that's just a standard USB connector, I haven't had to replace one of those yet.

Using your small needlenose pliers, pull that center piece out of the cord plug and it'll work in the new TIU.  Below is what a USB B plug should look like.
