I run conventional. I have one of these power packs that came with my polar espress set. Is there some sort of controller you can use with the power pack to vary the volts to the track?

Unless you are comfortable with a home brew voltage regulation device of your own design, I'm afraid not.

You can plug the LionChief wall adapter into an outlet controlled by a ceiling fan speed controller.

BUT, you would be much better off getting a CW-80, 1033/1044/4690, or a MTH Z-1000 for conventional operation.
