Polystyrene and Oil Based Chalks

YZF-R6OGR Forum Member

I am using polystyrene foam insulation panel (the blue one) on my layout. I realize that some products interact with the polystyrene.

If I paint all the polystyrene with a latex paint, do I still need to be concerned if using oil based weathering chalks such as Nupastel on structures and railway equipment?

I’m guessing no but thought I would confirm…
