I received some seated O guage figures from our friends in China to fill up my cars a little.

Not shocking to find they appear to be ethnically Chinese.

Oh, well, it's a Canadian train! After all, they BUILT the CPR! And they appear to be integrating well with the few original car occupents. Not without some wrinkles though!

Not the greatest figures . . . but very inexpensive!

Well, if you believe the listing, they are all 1:50.

But the little gals sit in the GGD benches well, while the Chinese Munster guys are hulking brutes! Hard to get their butts into the seats. So, hard to accept they are uniform in "guageness."

I have some marvelously detailed figures that came in my MTH cars! These, OTOH, are primitive!  But cheap!

The gals are fetching and busty, though!

Hi Crank, your figures are a perfect fit. Those installed by manufacturers aren't any more perfect. Please tell us who makes them, what size they are, and were we can buy them. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind comments, guys.

The figures shown in my post above are a mixture of 1:48 "Passengers" and "People Sitting" from Woodland Scenics (expensive), 1:48 and 1:50 O Scale Seated Figures assortments from China (less expensive and cheap), and the original GGD figures included with the cars.  Many have been modified and repainted to camouflage the inevitable duplication.

The WS figures are way to costly (and heavy) to populate the train, so I just use them in the high visibility domes and obs end. The Chinese figures are available on e.Bay, and I

received mine within 2 weeks or ordering. The 1:50 figures are identical to the ones used by Terry Danks and shown in his original post. They are an easier fit, especially in the tighter spaces of the GGD car interiors. Like Terry, I too need a lot of passengers, and I'm looking for new sources.

Do you remember which of the Chinese (Hong Kong?) suppliers you got yours from? I have tried a few on the auction site ("eB") and they don't look as suitable as yours. OTOH there are some real characters in the mix and I don't mean Munsters.
