I'm not sure about the exact model you have.  I have quite a few, and all of them are powered by a 4.5 volt DC power adapter.

Menards Hobby Shop 2792677

I understood which model you have, just wasn't 100% sure which power supply it used. There is no single online resource to my knowledge listing directions, owner's manuals or other specific information about out of production Menards products.

However, I did find this listing on Trainz: https://www.trainz.com/product...riant=39636448608378

It says the Menards Hobby Shop 2792677 uses the standard 4.5VDC power supply previously mentioned, as do all other Menards powered accessories I'm familiar with.

Now I am 99% sure my recommendation is correct.

Menards Lionel Trains Hobby Shop 2792677

I have the Hobby Shop and I like it. I am using a 4.5 volt power supply that I bought directly from Menards. See the SteveH listing above with the Menards SKU for it.  The Hobby Shop has the usual Menards female power plug on the side plus another alternate plug that is accessible from the bottom
