Power supply

That will work. Do you have any old small transformers buried somewhere? 

I use an old 12VDC wall wart to power my 17 Tortoise switch motors. I have saved several over time, most in the lower range--9VDC,etc. I believe Radio Shack sells the  units new--not certain.

You can find the smaller PW transformers for peanuts in a lot of places.

   I run all this kind of operating platform scenery along with my Street Cars from my old KW transformers, you can vary the voltage required for as many operating scenes as you have, then run the Street Cars from the oppsite handle.
