Joe's Diner is actually a telephone. The diner has lighting and sounds, and it has been used on some O-gauge layouts. How do I power the diner to get the lighting and sounds?

is there a location for a wall-wart connection?
yes, a wallwart was included. This is a terrific add to ones layout. I have one as well as a cinema telephone. Both were reviewed in OGR magazines.

I have a Joe's Diner on my layout and just checked the wallwart. The output is 9V DC, 300mA, and it goes to a standard jack on the diner. This is clearly one of the most popular accessories on the layout. Both young and old love Bill Haley's "Rock around the Clock". Plus, it's got great detail inside. I have mine connected to a phone line, of course, and am not sure if you can get the sounds without having the phone connected - never tried that.
Dave G,
Can you ballpark what issue of the OGR Magazine had Joe's Diner?
Bobby, it is Run #158. Am still looking for the Cinema telephone issue.Dave G.
Thanks Dave.
