Printed Circuit Board Vise/Holder???

I have several. But this is a favorite !

I use my Panavise with the heavy base for small boards.  I have a PCB holder, but I rarely use it as I don't work on stuff big enough to justify it.  I have these two pieces, obviously bolted together.  They do most of my bench holding.

I also have one of these, but I don't use it nearly as often.

Going the cheap route, I put down a piece of cardboard and use sticky tack for soldering work. Also do some soldering with a pcb set up on a breadboard.

I have a whole series like John showed you they make an excellent set and can hold any shape n size if you have the whole set like I do!

I like the smallness of the Amazon item Chuck linked to, but I want a heavy base, like the vise John shows, so things don't shift.  I didn't want to have to bolt it down but that may be what is called for.  I have one of those multi-armed things with all the alligator clips, don't like it, it's either too rigid or flops around too much.

Yeah, this isn't the Insquisition ya know, try not to torture your electronics too much

I might go to Priest Electronics in Norfolk next week and see what they have in the store.
