Today I hooked up a few switches to my DCS AIU and I'm having trouble with one of my switches. There is a bind in the sliding and the binding doesn't allow it to slide enough under power. I tried a few things and nothing helped. Any ideas???
- Adjusted the tension spring both ways and made it worse.
- No obstructions (no ballest and on top of Flexxbed.)
- Loosened surrounding track screws.

Hi I have had problems with the switch motors them selfs out of 60 switches I have had half of them burn out. At first the machines start to get sluges like you have described.
I put under table mounts in. I have Ben replacing them with tortis switch machines.
loosen or remove the two screws that hold the switch motor to the switch. the clips at each end of the motor will hold the motor to the track switch.
In the past I had 1 or 2 where the switch points were rubbing on the ties, you may check that.
Well I tried a few things and I found something that worked: I put a down a little pressure on the switch box, so the throw bar mast have been dragging causing it to bind. I installed a screw in the tab to keep off the pressure. Thanks for the help, guys!
