I am trying to program my MTH 4 Car Subway Set for command control with a CAB-1 remote. There seems to be no program switch on the engine. The instructions show a switch, but for the oife of me, there is not one on the engine itself. HELP!!! It is driving me nuts.

Why would a MTH product have a Lionel TMCC/Legacy program switch?
What's the exact MTH product number so we can see what you're talking about?
In any case, other than in conventional mode using a PowerMaster for track power control, you ain't controlling that with the CAB1 anyway.
The model is an R-17 4-Car Subway Set. It just sits on the track with the lights on. Can't get it move.
When we say model, we're referring to the MTH xx-xxxx-x model number. No reason for us to sit here and guess when you have the engine.
My apologies. It is a 30-2211-1.
Here's the RK R-17 30-2211-1 User's Manual, that may answer some questions. I don't see any switch instructions in the manual, and I know for 100% certainty that you won't be running this with TMCC unless it's had a major brain transplant!
