What ID do you assign to the StationSound passenger car? I have been using the engine's ID plus one but I was running today and started wondering is there a better way? As an example my Canadian Pacific has the engine programmed to 73 and the car set to 74. I thought about using the same ID as the engine but some of the commands are identical between the two.

I hope others chime in, however, I give my StationSounds cars there own ID number. Lionel probably has tutorials on there Webb site, showing how to use each operating car in TR train mode. There’s lots to learn about our Legacy System. Great Question, Merry Christmas

Eric Seigel of Erictrains.com did a review of the NYC Empire State Express Stationsounds diner. Go to YouTube and search ericstrains. At around the 16 minute mark of the video review he shows how to add the stationsounds diner to a train and use the train link button.
