Starting a ceiling build for the sons new Santa Fe Lion Chief Wanted some input on a proposed layout. ALL input welcome positive and negative. This will be a work in progress for the next couple of years. Thanks ahead of time.

Sorry, but I just do not understand how anybody can enjoy a ceiling layout. I know that it will require a few hundred hours of your time to construct this project and for that I salute you.
I just hope you and your son get at least half that amount of time enjoying it. The only time I see the underside of my locomotives are when I lube and or repair them. But, that is just me.

Hello Aaron...........I built one ceiling layout in my life, and that was for a hardware store display. Nobody really cared for it, wound up making a smaller one on a shelf. The most fun I had with kids, is trains on the floor running around the living room. or a seasonal small oval on the floor.
