I just snapped a few photos of my Lionel Broadway limited observation car beside the GGD 2R Congressional limited observation car. I'm interested in other layouts which feature these two great PRR trains. I am in the process of converting the GGD 2R to 3R.

I too Love PRR trains, what is the min radius for the GGD cars?
As you may know, the PRR went from rounded-end to blunt-end observation cars in 1948.
Dennis, the GGD Congressionals have a 054 in 3r and 48" radius in 2R. The Broadway limited by Lionel has minimum curve of 054. The Lionel broadway limited observation does have a blunt end, but I was surprised to find that it was boat tailed. That is, the end is flat, but the rear sides taper in slightly. The taper is hard to see unless you are close to the car. The Congressional observation car is flat, no taper.

Thanks, I've long wanted the earlier Lionel Al 18" car sets from the Trail Blazer, Senator, and Congressional. Some day lol Plus I will need to finish the upper wide radius loop on my layout!
