I have a rather new PS-3 engine(an SD-70ACe Reading Lines[Norfolk Southern heritage series]), and noticed that I need to use the whistle/horn button on my MTH Z-1000 to get it to move and then the direction button, not using DCS right now but will use it soon. Is this normal for that engine? Also what about the cab lighting? Is it normal for the cab lights to go out when in forward or reverse?
