Its been a while since I did a PS1 to PS 2 conversion . In reading the upgrade manual it tells me to connect
the CV board to track power through the supplied inductor, no problem there however there is three wires to the board
orange wire soldered onto AC lead, two black wires on either side of it which appear to be ground.
with orange and one black it powers the locos wiring for marker, cab and headlight, if other black wire connected at same time to ground it powers the Seuthe smoke unit but the rectifier gets fairly hot.
Should I connect both black wires to ground and the orange to the pick up ? or should I run the other black wire which seems to be the ground for the smoke unit to the switch for the smoke on/off feature ?
