Greetings, Does anyone know who in Maryland does PS2 conversions. Specifically a Williams scale GG1. Thanks.

You ought to move this post to the DCS forum.
I think Engine House Hobbies in Gaithersburg has a guy that does them.
Mike Brouse of Catoctin Mountain Trains does outstanding work. CMT is in Thurmont, home of Camp David. CMT will be closing on March 31 BUT Mike will still be doing repairs and upgrades. Contact CMT for Mike's contact info, or drop it off before March 31 and Mike will work with you. Great guy who does great work at great prices.
Mike does live just over the border in New Oxford Pa but I'm sure he'd be more than happy to coordinate a meeting or shipping with you.
I do PS/2 upgrades.
The guy that doing the upgrades at JDS is currently living in Maryland.

I do Upgrades also. In VA.
Louie at Engine House Hobbies in Gaithersburg MD converted my SMR engines to command (one ERR and the other PS2). Ron earlier converted my TMCC Kline Tank, Mikado and Hudson engines to PS2. Unless you are willing to play with new tach tapes, the smph will be off with my Hudson running at 16 smph, Mikado at 13 smph, and my tank at 8 smph to match 10 smph for a factory PS2 engine. The SMR Wooten engine runs quickly at 3 smph to match 10 smph. The TMCC SMR engine runs at 11 speed steps for about 10 smph.
It's pretty easy to make a custom tape to correct speed differences.
I also recommend Engine House Hobbies in Gaithersburg. Store owner's name is Ken, the guy who does the conversion is Louie.
I can also recommend Louie at Engine House Hobbies. He did an excellent job converting my 3rd Rail EM-1 to PS2.
Yes Engine House Hobbies is great! Louie is a fine repairman and does excellent upgrade work!
You can also check out Tom Schwartz through MB Klein Model Train Headquarters in Cockeysville, Maryland ( just north of Baltimore off I - 83 ) Tom does excellent work as well!
Thanks for the input guys. Sorry I'm late in replying.
