PS2 ENGINE WILL NOT MOVE | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I just installed a new BCR into a MTH SD80MAC diesel and successfully loaded the engine into my DCS remote.

All DCS functions work(sound, lights, directional lights, horn, bell, engine startup, etc) but the engine will not move.

Other DCS engines on my layout work OK. Using TIU FIXED1 input at 19 volts from a Z4000.

Any suggestions - did try engine feature and factory rest once each. Resets attempted when engine was idling in neutral. Should these resets be done before startup of engine?

Sound like engine is locked in neutral. ANY SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED.

Check the 4-pin motor wire connector where it plugs into one side of the PS2 board (yellow/white wires). Make sure that it is properly seated in its socket. You might have dislodged it when you opened up the engine to insert the BCR,

Found the noted plug - Plugged it in and all is well.
