Yes, a steam engine with one coupler, as long as the engine has a can motor with a flywheel.
The add states onopened. The photo must be a standard photo they keep on hand. Anyone who does upgrades wants to be the person to open the box.
If you're not doing the upgrade, I'd buy it from the person doing the upgrade, that will eliminate any doubt as to warranty coverage.
John, I always tell anyone who wants an upgrade done not to open the box. I had one person bring me a kit after telling him that and the kit was a mess. He took everything out and just put it back in a pile. You know what I told him. This has been gone over many times over the years. For some reason, some people think WOW that will be fun and just take any engine and want to have it upgraded. Doing a PS-2 upgrade is not fun, it is work. As a rule, any PS-1 engine that has been done before might get done again in PS-3. I find the most common Premier engines that get upgraded are the GS-4, N&W J, Empire state Express and many NYC Hudsons.
Over the years, I have built up a great supply of PS-1 boards as well as Lionel boards, Weaver, Williams and K-Line.
I'm sure you have a pile of boards Marty.
BTW, you don't happen to have a dead RailSounds Power Supply with the can over the toroid, do you? Dale was looking for one to create a pattern. Truthfully, if I could find a couple, I'd remote the cans to retrofit a couple of my power supplies to minimize noise pickup.
A 24 pin Railsounds Power board.--Yes. Hit my email where you want it shipped to.
Boards are in the mail.
Thanks again Marty, you're the man!
