How’s it going. I haven’t posted in a long time. Since there are no more techs at MTH to talk to I’m sure you guys could help me out. I put a PS3 upgrade kit into a railking camelback. Everything went in like usual. When I loaded the sound file and the chain files it all goes ok. However, the backup light comes on even when the engine goes forward and the headlight doesn’t come one. I go to reverse it and the tender light stays on and the head light comes on. I don’t get what’s going on. The kit is from the latest run which I think I got last year at some point. Don’t remember the exact date. Was surprised o got them.

any help would greatly be appreciated. I’ve done a few of these and never ran into this problem. Not sure what I’m missing.

thanks again

What chain file?  PS-3 upgrade kits are PS-32 boards.  So only the PS-32 chain files can be used.  Not the PS-3 type.  It does sound like you misidentified or the kit was assembled wrong with HL outputs.  Validate the wiring on the connector.  But you should be using a PS-32 steam file with the proper smoke output depending on whether your camel back is large or small smoke unit.  G
