Trying to put LED head lights and markers in this engine, LED's are connected to a rectifier and they will light up on DC.
I thought I could trigger the rectifier with the head lite wiring connection, but no joy...Any suggestions...

Can you provide wiring details as mentioned by Mark?
LED's have a polarity, reverse the output from your rectifier.
Well I got the problem cured, I installed Evans LED's, Now I have directional headlights and markers, I drilled to small holes in the headlight casting and mounted the 3mm cool white led's, I used their 2mm red ones for the markers, This weekend I will take some pictures and put them up...
