Does any one know how to contact this company? They produced the QSI-3000, among many other things....My attempts to find them have turned up NADA.

Phil,
What do you want to know about the QSI3000? I have several locomotives with that system in them, and I have the book.
email in profile.

Their website says they are having phone problems and to contact them on the website: http://www.qsisolutions.com/
Bill
That phone problem web page has been up since 2016. Last I heard QSI was looking for a new USA distributor and that was over a year ago.
I used 1-802-448-9899 some time ago. Don't know if it still works. Worth a try.

Really doesn't matter as this is posted on the contact page....nice...real nice
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT SUPPLY, SERVICE, OR SUPPORT ANY OUTDATED, QSI, 3 RAIL, O SCALE SYSTEMS. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCOVENIENCE.
Bruce: The engine will make 3 dings, but won't go. The users guide say to do a full reset, you begin by removing the 'slider' on top of the board. But; this engine HAS NO SLIDER.... It seems to be missing!
It's a shame for QSI, but since they lost the MTH contract it has been a downward slide for them in O-Gauge.
Smart folks and they had some really good products but their "Clink-Clank- Clunk" control system for 3 rail could not compare to TMCC, or DCS.
In any case I heard that they went out of business and judging from what we read above it is unfortunately but obviously true.
Even if you did not like their engine sound and control systems they offered a nice line of sound systems for box cars and around the layout.
I hope all is ok with them, but I never heard of any business having problems with their phone lines for more than one day let alone a year.
Another fallen flag I fear.
QSI got me into MTH, MTH got me back into three rail big time. K-line got me lots of great stuff on the cheap, MTH got me back into electrics and overhead wire systems. Sorry about QSI. They were nice folks. Don

3rd Rail uses QSI decoders in their O scale 2-rail engines
Hi Jim, I did not know that. Does QSI still service 3rd Rail products?

IDK where you received your misinformation from but QSI is very well into DCC and sound for 2 rail O scale and HO. QSI sued MTH for breech of their electronic patents on the PS1 debacle around the turn of the century.

IDK what the settlement, if any was, but QSI retreated back to 2 rail and DCC and is strong in that field. QSI did abandon their 3 rail sound and control products as the technology progressed.
QSI has a boatload of chips left to offload but other than that they are defunct. Individuals who used to work for them are trying to provide ad hoc software support.
A couple of electronic notes. Several early upgrades, I had done to Weaver products, were done with Digital Dynamics TMCC. Digital Dynamics is gone.
Second set of upgrades moved to TAS, TMCC. Those upgrades were superceded by more elaborate speed control upgrades. TAS (Train America Studios) is gone.
I had done one or two ERR upgrades, one of which was damaged and I tried to replace the drive board with the identical piece, it was not available. ERR still available.
A lot of the Weaver upgrades I had done were QSI and I recently let those boards go on the this forum for shipping cost. One note on QSI was that the basic Drive/bridge rectifiers seem repairable, IMO.
The world of electronic/ model train electronics is quickly changing/ repair often would seem to be replacement with what is currently available.
I know of a few folks that sent their new QSI Titan decoders into QSI Solutions for warranty repair and never got them back...that's been a few years now.

I would like to find a QSI-3000. Can you guide me here?
Phil,
This page is from QSI 3000 Quick Start Manual
try it.

IDK, but IMHO a company that doesn't even have an operating phone number is for all intents and purposes out of business!
I guess that comes from my negativity, but I would not buy used paper from a company without a phone.

Can you direct me to these folks?

No. As I was told, they only support OEMs. If you are an OEM you should already have that information. They have not provided direct to customer support in several years.
Wow. Turn your back and "old and reliable" went up the flue. I bought Bowser birney chasses and QSI reverse units, AC to DC, to operate them under creations, or to power a brass something, with one old project l needed to finish, and nada? These were reverse units used in old Lionel for replacement....who offers those now? And the AC to DC "converter"?
