I have a No. 5 turnout and installed it with a power connector at the end of the rail marked A. Although there is a gap in the rail between A and B/C, should there be conductivity from A to B & C or is A insulated?
The reason for the question is that further to the left in the diagram I inserted an insulated connector. At first, the segment from A to the insulated connector seemed to be powered. Then I suddenly lost power all the way from A to the insulated connector. Did the switch malfunction or is this the way it's supposed to be?
Thanks for your help.
