Question for Android expert

I have 3 Android devices which I use with my 2 MTH WIUs. The newest is a Samsung S6 running Android 5.1.1. Next newest is a Samsung Note 10.1 tablet running 4.1.2. Both run the railroad just fine. Third device is a Samsung SIII running ANdroid 4.4.2. This unit will, after running the layout for not more than a minute, will turn off the MTH "network." If I have scanning turned on, it will jump to my home network; otherwise, goes no where. ANyone have any suggestions other than switch to using the home network for the trains or trashing the SIII?
