A good friend mentioned that all the green Brutes (11-2010-1) came with a factory paint
flaw at the area where the articulation is located. Please let me know if you have seen
the same problem and what you did to correct the flaw/paint chip?

One side of mine looks close to perfect the others have scrapes in the articulation very similar to what you would have seen with an original Lionel M10000.
You need to post your question on the Tinplate forum as well-you will find a higher percentage of people who have one of these.

I agree, I think it was done when they put it in the cage...there's not a good way to move this engine around. It's 47 pounds with two articulated ends. I insert cloth in the articulated sections when I move it to make sure it doesn't get any more scratches than it came with.
