A good friend mentioned that all the green Brutes (11-2010-1) came with a factory paint
flaw at the area where the articulation is located. Please let me know if you have seen
the same problem and what you did to correct the flaw/paint chip?

There was a topic about this subject back when the Brute was delivered and opened up for viewing. Mine has no chips,luck I guess. There were also problems reported with chipped paint on some of the passenger cars.

The Brute (aptly named) requires TWO persons to SAFELY handle from the unpacking to the track.
My articulated sections had two minor scratches which occurred during packing or shipping.
CAUTION: This is an unwieldly engine to handle, and is BEST accomplished with TWO persons!
There is a reasonable risk of damage due to the flexibility of the articulated sections.
Another MAJOR criticism:
MTH should have designed a battery compartment that would have allowed changing the battery without disassembly of the three sections!
