I an looking to add ground/main driver wheel LEDs to my locomotive using the attachment point on the Chuff Generator. What is the D/C voltage it supplies and how much current can be put through it?

It doesn’t supply voltage, it completes the ground path to make the circuit. In John’s instruction sheet, it’s clearly all spelled out how to do it, and how much amperage you can pull across it,….

Ok. Thank you. So it just basically acts as a normally closed relay until it calculates 10mph, then opens.

Ehhhh, ok you can look at it that way,…..it’s just simply a ground trigger from the chuff generator. You build your circuit off of track power. You wire your hot side ( with resistors and LEDs etc, ) directly to track power hot, but instead of directly wiring to frame ground for the other side, you wire the ground to John’s generator.. when the engine is at rest, or under 10 or so SMPH, the path to ground is complete, and the LED’s illuminate. When motion above 10 SMPH, the generator opens, and then boom, boom, out goes the lights 😁
