I have a Railpower 1400 Tech 11 for a few accessories that are DC.
Today while adding a little grease to the Oil Derrick (Conerstone) I checked the power output on the DC Connection.
Looking at the the unit from the back, I connected the red wire to the left terminal and the black to the right (BOTH DC) my meter indicated 14 watts(?) positive.
Just curious. I reversed the connections putting the black on the left and red on the right, the meter indicated a -13 (negative).
Doing exactly the same thing to the AC connections, it made no difference which wire was connected to what terminal.
My electrical experience is plug it in and it works great but I am curious about the negative reading on the DC and I did switch the meter from DC to AC
Hope you have a good laugh about my simple question
Have a great day
