I wonder if anybody has any of the 14 wooden truss rod flat, reefer, box, rail and tie car kits with this brand, or built them.  I just got out this Santa Fe stockyard kit to maybe work on while waiting on supplies for other project, and saw it had computer addresses, zip codes, area codes, and therefore was a recent kit.  But the domain address was for sale and email bounced.  Only other structure kit on list of offerings is a boxcar/freight house.  One of the things I would like is a list of all the structure, engine, and rolling stock kit builders, and kits, back to maybe 1930, for O scale.  Here is one I had never heard of, recent, and...gone.

Good luck with that!  That's a couple of years of work surveying all of the model RR'ing literature published over the past 85+ years, if you have access to it all, and then tracking down the catalogs that might have been issued and in some cases, for models that might not have even been produced.  How fast can you read all that and then transcribe the hard copy info into an electronic format by hand? And, then you'll still miss a lot of kit producers that never advertised in any publication that sold by word of mouth, at meets & shows, and then more recently through the internet only.

Although it will not answer all the questions posed, there is available a  recent  publication entitled "History of O Scale" or something like that  for $20 + tax + shipping, etc as appropriate.

Note : probably not for 3 rail folks looking for something about Lionel. This publication is focused on 2 rail and names like Mi-Loco, Lobaugh, Megow,  General Models, USH, Kemtron,  and many others not known in the 3 rail community.
