I have a lift-out section which has four tracks, two at one level, two at the second level, levels are about 1" in difference (main line vs siding).

Need to have it converted to a section which will lift up from one end.

Maybe two separate bridges, two tracks on each one.

Can't use pulleys and cables ... needs to by hydraulic lift or something that will stay up when up.

Building the actual lifting sections off-site and having me install it is okay.

Anybody know of someone who does this type of work?

I'm getting really tired of crawling back and forth under it ....

Thank you!

While your in the plannning stage permit me to offer somthing you should consider.

I have a list and a swing section on my basement layout

The lift section can be manually latched in the up position. The problem I have with it is that in the summer when the layout expands the section, if in the down position will become jamed in place and can not be lifted until the sprint. If left in the up position before winter it will not drop into place.

The swing section is more forgiving except when opened it takes up isle space.

Of the two I perfer the swing section which is useable all year round.

I had a similar problem. I solved it by building a swing gate. It Crosses the opening at about 22 degrees and scenery runs across the top with two bridges at two levels. It was somewhat of an engineering challenge. One section of the upper bridge cantilevers into the stationary section. This was done for scenic reasons so both sections could rest on the same pier when the gate is closed.
