April 27th....a very sad day.
We were all very sad in Central Virginia. This store was a local institution. It's a great shop for train people and modelers of all kinds.
May 14th....we're ecstatic. Adrian (the propriator) has found a buyer!
The sale is over. The sign is down. An LHS survives!

Glad to hear it. Hobby shops are great. Who can resist randomly walking around a hobby store for no good reason.
Ill check out on the net, if they have a site I will try to buy a few things to wish the new owners well.

That's great, it's sad to see the local stores closing in droves.
Good to hear Peter! Adrian helped me get my Atlas GP9 with PS2 reset and had some good stuff in the store as well (got a nice Atlas boxcar while there).

I'm 99% sure I know who it is, but we're waiting for the formal announcment at the end of this month. I got my Lionel pre-order placed yesterday. Adrian has been a true benefactor to our club. He will still around doing repairs.
