At the recent York show I purchased a F3 used F3 shell. My goal is to use most of the body for a rotary snowplow. But first I need to remove a badly applied paint job. What is the best type of remover to use? Water and soap, brake fluid or something else?

I use Castrol Super Clean, full strength in a Spackling trough, where you can submerge the whole shell. Usually takes about 6 hours of soaking.
One of the "Purple Power" type industrial cleaners. Soak it anywhere from 2 hours to 2 months (really!), depending on the paint. Usually a day or so. It has NEVER failed to totally remove whatever paint I have tried it with, and it has NEVER harmed any plastic. That is not to say that either of these failures is not possible, but I have used this technique a LOT and have a 100% success rate.
I've also used Castrol Super Clean with great results.
