I am trying to figure out what I could use as a replacement end caps for the foam rollers on centerline, brass rail cleaner?

Maybe a good hardware store might have something.

Have no idea what the diameter of the plug is but the drawing appears to look like a plug for an opening in an electrical panel.

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe a 3/8 or 1/2 diameter electrical box plug.
If you know anyone that works with metal and uses a lathe. Machine a piece of stock that fits tight to the inside of the roller. The added weight will help the cleaning process.
1. Drink a bottle of wine.
2. Cut down the cork to fit the two ends.
3. Drink a bottle of champagne to celebrate the success!
