I am trying to find a replacement bulb for this MTH engine, the engine has QSI electronics, the incandescent bulb has two leads, one end soldered the other end crimp connector in a minature male two pin connector, engine probably late 1990's, bulb diameter .122 inch., approximately 1/4 inch long.

If the bulb connects directly to the QSI board, it's a 1.5V bulb, if it connects to a CV board, it's a 6V board.  Since that page lists directional headlights, it's likely the 1.5V bulb.  How long is the wire on the bulb?  I have some of the 1.5V bulbs and 6V bulbs.

A simple way to test is connect it to a 1.5V battery, if it's fairly bright, it's the 1.5V version.  If it's very dim, it's the 6V bulb.
