Is there a direct “drop-in” replacement switch from Ross that matches up to the "standard" Gargraves (100” radius) switch? According to SCARM the GG switch is 15.99” long with a 10.42° frog. The closest match I could find is the Ross #100 which is 14.65” long with an 11° frog. This means I’ll need to cut some 1.3” or so “make-up” sections. Is there a better way to do this? I have a critical interchange section where I need to avoid ripping up and realigning existing track if at all possible.

I dunno. This is worth a call to RCS.

It's not an exact fit. You end up having to re-configure the tracks. Been there/done that with the original entrance tracks to the staging yard at the club.
I was afraid of that. I downloaded the PDF's and printed them out lifesize some time ago but then, before I could place an order, got sidetracked with scenery. I was hoping that Ross had an easy "out with the old, in with the new" solution. If the derailments that occur in that section of the layout get to the point where I can't stand it anymore, I'll just do what needs to be done.

That's exactly what and why we changed them out. This was in the early days of the club and we started having problems with the Gargraves turnouts. We had already been using Ross turnouts for the mainline as it expanded, but didn't want the hassle of changing out the staging yard turnouts. We reached the point where we couldn't stand it and replaced them at both ends of the staging yard. That was more than 13 years ago.
