From what I understand Sunset is doing an L-105. Not sure about the variations or when but that is good news. The Key FM Train Model handbuilt with ball bearings on all corners and Faulhauber motored legend in these photos is the holy grail in my opinion. Max Grey did one back in the Stone Age it's nice but needs full detailing.

These are magnificent!

I've also seen pictures of the Key L-105 with the rising sun emblem, that while beautiful also would reduce your time period drastically.

I believe Sunset waits for people to be relieved from financial burden before offering "similar" engines. I personally prefer the L-105 to the L-131, and I would order a Sunset L-105 in a heartbeat.
