River Leaf Models?....Still in Biz?

He posts on other forums. Even there he’s been a way for a while. Don’t really know about his website.

His job called him out of the country several years ago. I saw intermittent posts, but nothing recently. I checked the web site, and it is still operational. I emailed and called Andre several times with no response. He called me a few years ago when I was on vacation in Lancaster, and that's the last I heard from him. There were rumors on another forum saying he couldn't come back to the US, or was having a hard time. I take those for what they're worth though. I do wish I could get in touch, as we were working on a few projects. He did a model of a CNJ concrete shanty that our preservation society sold as a fund raiser, and it was quite successful.

Elsewhere it's been reported that Andre has been out of the country working.  I gather he is quite busy with his other endeavors.

I heard from Andre last week and he was in Israel on business. He has very poor connectivity there. It sounds as if he is quite busy.

For the time being, I don’t think that anyone is available to handle the business.

If I hear any more, I will post it here.

Thanks Bill. It's good to hear he is OK.

I just got an e mail from a member of another forum who has kept in contact with Andre. He will be returning to the US in a few weeks if all goes as planned.

I emailed Andre last November and bought a few models.

Good to hear he is well

I am also happy to hear that Andre is well. He is a great guy and an asset to our hobby.

I also did a number of buildings with Andre and am glad to hear he is doing well and may be heading back.
